Not all delay spray brands are good products. In fact, in my testing of over 100 delay spray brands, more than 80% of them were unsatisfactory, which is why I haven’t written reviews for these brands on my blog.
However, today I need to share my review of the delay spray brand STUD 5000 to prevent any potential misunderstandings about the brand.

What is STUD 5000 Delay Spray?
STUD 5000 is a delay spray brand with lidocaine as its main active ingredient, which helps reduce penile sensitivity and prolong the time a man can last in bed.
I found that it has a relatively strong numbing effect, works quickly, and the effects last for quite a while. However, it has a rather strong smell, and even after wiping it with a wet wipe, the odor remains quite noticeable, making it unsuitable for oral sex.
I couldn’t find the manufacturer of STUD 5000; there was no information about it on the product packaging, and I couldn’t find a STUD 5000 official website on Google either. So, I asked ChatGPT and got the following answer:
“STUD 5000 delay spray is produced by Cooper Pharma, an Indian pharmaceutical company. Cooper Pharma was founded in 1959 and specializes in the production and distribution of various medications. STUD 5000 is one of the company’s well-known products aimed at men’s health, designed to help prolong sexual activity.”
While AI provided this answer, I believe STUD 5000’s effectiveness is quite average, suitable only for men looking to purchase an inexpensive lidocaine delay spray.
STUD 5000 vs. STUD 100
This is why I decided to write a review of STUD 5000. When I saw the STUD 5000 delay spray on Amazon, I thought it was an upgraded version of STUD 100, expecting it to be much more effective.
However, after trying it, I found that STUD 5000’s effectiveness is far inferior to STUD 100. After doing extensive research online, I discovered that STUD 5000 and STUD 100 are two entirely different brands with no relation to each other. The similar brand names had led to a significant misunderstanding.
In a previous article,STUD 100 Delay Spray For Men Reviews 2024, which is a British brand that has been on the market for decades, is highly effective, and has received widespread praise.
STUD 5000 is an Indian brand. Their brand names look very similar, and the products’ ingredients and purposes are also quite similar, but their effectiveness is vastly different. Moreover, I couldn’t even find an official website for STUD 5000, making it hard to believe that this is a legitimate brand. This seems unbelievable.
I could only find brief descriptions of the company on a few Indian wholesale websites, and what’s even stranger is that for a pharmaceutical company, the email address on the STUD 5000 packaging is a Yahoo account, which doesn’t sound particularly professional.

Pros and Cons of STUD 5000
My Experience Using Stud 5000
At first, I thought it was an upgraded version of Stud 100, so I ordered it on Amazon. After receiving the product, I noticed a problem different from other delay sprays:
The Stud 5000 packaging did not include an instruction manual. It only had some basic information printed on the bottle, so I couldn’t find out more about the product, which immediately made me realize that Stud 5000 might not be a product from the same company that made Stud 100.
However, since I already bought it, I decided to test it. First, I conducted a patch test on my arm to check for any side effects or allergic reactions—luckily, there were no issues. However, I did notice a strong chemical smell, which would make this product unsuitable for men sensitive to odors.
After waiting for 10 minutes, I felt Stud 5000 start to work, so I quickly took a shower to remove any residue and attempt to get rid of the smell. Unfortunately, even after washing, the odor was still noticeable.
Then I called in my partner, who is used to testing these delay sprays with me and knows my testing process. We started with some foreplay, but I felt a significant numbing effect on my penis, slightly reducing the sensation, though this did indicate that Stud 5000 was effective.
Afterward, my partner performed oral sex, and she mentioned that she could still smell the spray’s distinct odor, which resembled something like mint or eucalyptus. Five minutes later, she suddenly said her mouth felt a bit numb and asked if I had washed it off properly. I assured her I had thoroughly washed away all residues.
This was an issue we hadn’t encountered in a long time, and we were both surprised. For whatever reason, it seemed that Stud 5000 hadn’t been fully absorbed by my skin, and even after washing, some residue remained. Based on my testing, I don’t think Stud 5000 is suitable for oral sex because the numbing effect can transfer, so I recommend using it with a condom to prevent this effect from affecting your partner.
Although Stud 5000 is somewhat effective, it lacks a lot of information, especially regarding ingredients, safety, and side effects. After using it once or twice, I stopped using it due to concerns about my health. The delay sprays I usually use are produced under FDA guidelines, ensuring not only good results but, more importantly, higher safety.
I believe you wouldn’t want to spray an unknown product from an unknown company on your penis either.

How Long Does Stud 5000 Delay Spray Last?
Since Stud 5000 contains 10% lidocaine, its effectiveness is similar to other delay spray brands. I felt it start working within 10-15 minutes after application.
During my sexual testing with my partner, it helped me extend from my usual 3 minutes to about 15 minutes. The effects lasted for about 2 hours before gradually wearing off.
If we only consider the duration of effectiveness, Stud 5000 meets the standard delay spray requirements.
How to Use Stud 5000 Delay Spray
The instructions on the Stud 5000 bottle are very simple and lack a lot of information. It only tells you to shake well before use, for external use only, then hold the container with the spray button pointing at the application area, 10 cm away. Press the button repeatedly to spray… each spray should not exceed 1 second, and you should not spray more than 5 times.
There is no information on where exactly to spray, how long to wait, whether it should be washed off, or if it can be used during oral sex or with condoms.

Stud 5000 Delay Spray Side Effects
When sprayed on the penis, Stud 5000 causes a slight stinging sensation, but this is a typical symptom of lidocaine spray, so there’s no need to worry. It should fade after about 30 minutes, and the sensation is mild, not causing any significant concern.
I didn’t notice any other side effects, but since I only used Stud 5000 a few times, I stopped using it later due to concerns about unknown side effects from prolonged use.
Stud 5000 Delay Spray Conclusion
Based on my experience, I think Stud 5000 is an average product, a very basic and generic lidocaine spray, similar to most of the delay sprays I’ve tested.
While it does provide a quick and strong numbing effect, the numbing is quite intense, and the product’s safety, stability, and side effects are difficult to assess since Stud 5000’s manufacturer seems to have only added anesthetic lidocaine to the spray.
From a broad perspective on delay sprays, I don’t think Stud 5000 is a good choice unless you’re looking to spend the least amount of money on a generic delay spray.
